Lyf F1

The Lyf F1 is a mainstream smartphone priced at Rs. 13,399. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. Brightness is good and colours are vibrant, making for sharp text. The phone is slim and light too due to the plastic body but is put together well. The F1 supports Dual-SIM functionality with a separate slot for the microSD card. App performance is generally good thanks to the octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC and 3GB of RAM. The phone doesn’t overheat but does get warm depending on the activity being performed. The F1 also runs on a near-stock version of Android Marshmallow with the suite of Jio apps and some gesture based customisations to the OS. The rear 16-megapixel camera and front 8-megapixel camera perform well in daylight but struggle with focus and colour noise in low-light shots. Battery life is pretty good too. Overall, barring a few niggles, the Lfy F1 is worth considering if you’re looking to jump onto the Jio bandwagon.
